Yes, they will fit. But are you getting the 2/5s because of their price or because of their look? New 2/5s should be coming in a few months.

es nice car but i'm not planning to lower the car if i get 19" and the ones that i'm gettin are front 19/8 rear 19/9 you have it 19/10
plus you lowered the car. So i think i'm ok to go with 19 on my E430. And also did you have any problems in front and what size tres you put on those wheels.

Hey Cilky,

Did you have to take off those brake calipers off for you to paint them? Also, how is the finish on the painted calipers? Can you post some closer shots of the painted calipers? Thanks...

depends on the weather
depending on the tires size and model your choose you will be ok with the 19x8 and 19x9 wheels on your car (no rubbing). The reason I make this statement is because some tires are wider than others .... the S-03 for example is extremely wide when compared to most other tires of the same size

I'll look for a good close up of my wheels later today for you! You do not have to remove them, but it helps if you want a good all over coverage. I did "Petie's" brakes in an afternoon and we didn't take his calipers off. The finish is nice and shiney, and when it gets dirty just repaint them hahahaha. If you want the good finish I'd get the folia-tec kit because it works really nice.

I am new to this forum and i need help from u guys. I am interested with the 18" 2/5 Carlsson rims because of the model. The front is 18x8 and the rear is 18x9. My question is : are they gonna fit the C240 2001 (W203) without any modification? What are the recommended tires brand and sizes?are they gonna affect my manufacture warranty if i put them on?

Thank you very much

kaze81, welcome aboard.

Sure, the wheels fit without modification if you use the proper tire sizes:

225/40/18
255/35/18

This is what Tire Rack lists and they don't show fitments that require mods.

Tire selection depends on you and what type you need. Your choice are basically summer tires or all-season.

As far as warranty - When you put on Aftermarket wheels and require any service related to wheels and things associated with wheels the dealer will probably not fix.

Who still have Carlsson 2/5s left? I thought they're gone. Anyways, yes, they will fit a W203 without any rubbing issue. And the tire sizes that Kev was suggesting was correct. There are a lot of choices for tires, ranging from the most expensive Michelin Pilot Sport to the least expensive Kumho. If you put on aftermarket wheels, what kind of warranty can be voided? Ummm....bolts?

I have 1/5 on the car 18x8 w/ 225/40/18 in the front and 18x9 w/255/35/18 in the rear. They have no problem fit that in even with H&R spring (1.5" drop)
