Killer rear brake upgrade for CL203- all MBZ parts
W203:
10 7/8" rotor diameter
3/8" thick, non vented
2 1/4" x 1 3/4" pad
1 1/4" piston diameter
W210 AMG:
11 3/4" rotor diameter
7/8" thick, vented
2 3/8" x 2" pad
1 3/4" piston diameter
Buying the factory parts will cost you $1000 for everything- not quite as cool as a floating tuner brake set, but a nice alternative.
KLEEMANN has attached this image:
Also - more importantly - if this works, what happens to the e-brake? I don't know the structure on the coupe's rear brakes but I would venture a guess that the ebrake works like a drum brake setup inside of the hat. Will this work still?
Thanks for the great find! This will help balance out the C32 front's in a big sort of way!!

ALL MBZ cars since 1998 share the same PB mechanism. This conversion is shown on a C230 (see pictures) so of course it works on it.
OK Peet- Ill post the PN's- home for the weekend, so no access to my MBZ EPC to look them up. Ill catch you up on Monday.

Now that Kleemann offers a big brake upgrade kit for the W210 E55 with nice black calipers I am putting those on my wish list.
KLEEMANN: someone on the C32 board mentioned that the new E55 ( W211) brakes can be fitted on a C32. Do you have any information about it? Thanks!!
The 55 brakes are also VERY heavy. Their mass is intimidating, but I think an aftermarket kit would probably have better results.
