Best track tire for the C63?
What is the best track tire for the C63?
I have used the Yokohama A048 and the Michelin pilot sport cup. The Yoko lasted 4 track days and several hundred road miles while the cups only lasted one track day and less than 100 road miles. The cups did appear to be faster and maybe that is because of their stiff sidewalls because on paper they are not as soft/sticky as the yoko's. Then again, I could just be getting better at driving.
Anyway, I need to order a new set and am looking for recommendations and experiences.

Are you going with stock wheel and tire sizes?

1 day for sport cups ... I had a set which went 10 track days and an untold number of AutoX runs .. in the end I put almost 5000 miles on them .... in a car which weight almost 4000 pounds wet

The tires were actually OK except for a couple holes that had developed that went all the way through to the cords. One was about the sice of a quarter andante other a nickel. I'm trying to email you pictures. At this point I'm willing tom give them another shot but wanted to explore the optinos first. I need to make anorder pretty soon. The problem aI m running into is that I can't find many options for the stock rims. I need a 235 front and don't want to go 245 as I thin they will actually perform worse at that size due to the stock rim width.
