anyone receive poor service from TireRack?

anyone receive poor service from TireRack?

I recently placed 2 sets of snow & rim order thru Tire Rack early last week. Had to confirm my credit card via reachable phone number that is listed with phone company. (my number is unlisted).
At no point any of this information was relayed by the rep, as this is my 1st order with Tire Rack based on others positive experience.
So far, my wheels have not arrived at dealer. At first, I had requested to have both orders shipped at same time for convenience. However, upon sales rep recommendation, as the TPMS is not in stock for the second order, I may not receive the exact wheels as specified due to low in stock.
I have now learnt that TPMS is not due to arrive for another 2 weeks?
I have not received any confirmation nor update from Tire Rack after leaving 2 emails and voicemail with rep.

This is getting to be a bit of annoyance and when reading some complaints from the web, it seems their customer service is an understatement?

Has anyone had similar experience?

I am sorry that your order did not go as smoothly as we both would have liked. While I do not know exactly what you have on order the truth of it is that at this time of year inventory levels can vary quite rapidly so, as hard as we try there are times when products are out of stock. I would be happy to look into this issue if you would like. As far as the credit card verification, that is done for your protection as we attempt to stop any and all fraudulent credit card activity.

I've never had an issue. If you have any doubt, your best best is to call before you order so they can check they're inventory ahead of time. I've purchased several tires and my first tire/wheel package a few weeks ago and they've always been spot on. They had my Enkei/Khumo XS package on my door in only 3 days, and I paid for basic shipping. I also ordered a wall mounted tire rack at the same time and that was on my door in only 2 days. I've tried to beat they're prices but fail everytime lol

I've been using TireRack since 1993 and the only time I had a problem was when I ordered tires for a friend using someone else's credit card. Their fraud prevention Department required all of us to get on the phone to verify the order was legit. Besides the slight inconvenience, it was good to know their fraud protection works and they don't just take the money and run.

your shipping address and billing address do not match, red alert..usually they have to call and confirm before process orders.. tiresrack is excellent few times i used them..

I use tirerack all the time and never had an issue.... when i did ship tires to a different location, tirerack personnel do call just to confirm.
