20's or 19's on my 2011 e350
Just picked up my new E 350 bluetec black on black. It came with the 17's and looks dull in this set up. I found the TSW Mondrus line and like the manniheim in gun metal.
Will the ride from the 17 to 20's be a drastic change in the current comfort, or will the 19's be a smoother option.
Also would the chrome look over kill vs the GM ? I want a good factory look, I do not want my clients to look at the car and think I'm some hip hop rap punk.

In my opinion even 20" wheels the car needs to be lowered to look good and have the right stance. I've looked at tons of pictures of both 19" and 20" and every one that looks good is lowered. Unfortunately I can't lower mine since it's a lease.

It's really up to you. If you are going to pick between 19 or 20 inch and leave the car stock height I would 110% choose 20's. That is most likely what I'm going to end up doing. Keep in mind I have the coupe but the sedan is even bigger so in my opinion 19's and stock height wouldn't give you the look you are after.

So what it sounds like is that if I do not lower the car the 19s will look out of place. But the 20's will give the car a poor ride. But would it be safe to say that the 20's would also raise up the car even more so than the 19's and thus still require me to lower the car to avoid the cheap getto look.

No on the run flats what's the point. They do not make a real benefit with a blow out.
I'm still not sold on 19 or 20 yet any the ideas since I'm not going to lower the car

So what did you decide? In the same boat and thinking about just picking up a set of dealer take off 18" sport wheels.

Oh the ride is a tad more harsh but my wife can't tell. But the car looks so clean. It is just the right amount of sport look and not over kill. I don't doubt the 20's would fill the fender better but with the 19's we did not change the diameter of the wheel so just more rim less tire.

I got some non staggard 19's I had machined and painted black.

I think they would look killer and its the only set you sill see since I bought them in gray and had them done to look like this.
