c36 rolling over right rear tire

1996 C36 AMG, 1995 Volvo 850 Turbowagon
c36 rolling over right rear tire

this happens when cornering too hard. well, at least that's what i think is happening. i hear this "poing/doing" noise from right rear. tire pressure @ 36 psi. alignment all within spec (from computer data). any ideas? happened on original factory installed bridgestone s-01 expedia and on brand new bridgestone s-03 potenza

You could lower your car to give it some negative camber.

Steve,
Mark your tire(s) with either white chalk or white shoe polish where the sidewall meets the tread. Make a mark that goes down the sidewall a few inches. Now go fast around some corners. Look at the mark to see how far the tire rolled over. There is usally a symbol on the sidewall that marks the spot where the max rollover should be.
By raising or lowering your pressure you can control where the tire rolls over. I hope this makes sense!

Personally, I don't think your tire is rolling over too much unless you are really pushing hard, to the point where you are understeering badly.

Let us know what you find.
