real brabus VI rims vs. the replicas

I have a question about the real brabus VI rims vs. the replicas that some companies are selling...I know that the replicas are made of different materials and the process of making is different from the real ones...I'm just wondering will the replicas do any damage to the car and safety wise....? Cuz I just spent all my saving on the pioneer dvd navigation and only have $1600 left for rims…..
Thanks

I heard most replicas are heavier than the original.

Could anybody confirm this?

Thanks.

I think people are overestimating the quality difference (if there is any) between the original and replica. You're paying for the badge.

Having said that, i bought real brabus VI myself. Tried hard to find replicas, but couldn't find any in 8.5 and 9.5 staggered in 18". If i would have found replicas in coorrect size, i certainly would have saved the money.

Check with "The Wheel Supply". Thay gave me a great deal on Brabus. If you want 19", they have a great looking replica.

Cheers

I think replicas are not multi-piece wheels. They just "look" like two-piece. But in fact, they are all one-piece construction.

The quality control and finishing of replicas are much inferior than the real things.

Replicas are lighter that the OGs because they are simulated one piece wheels. You'll be surprised by the quality of the moven replicas.

OGs or replicas look great - it's all preference.

Replicas are not cheap!

I did a check, the replicas we have it here costs about 2/3 of the original. I think rather pay another 1/3 to get the original in this case.
