'04 Silverado Z71 - sold all my Benzes and need another!
I just replaced mine and the P7000's are the worst tires I have ever had on my car. I just purchased a set of Toyo Proxies FZ4's and so far so good. What a huge difference and quite as heck too...

I was really surprised you ordered them to begin with. Get something like the pilot sports, F1 GSD3, or some other tires. BTW, luke why do you still recommend them in the sticky thread?

at the time that post was created the P7000 was the last available tire in that class

Pirelli P7000 Supersport
When new, they are pretty decent. And they're great in heavy rain (when new). As they wear, they get NOISY. And they screech and howl when you push them hard on dry pavement. Then they wore out in 16kmi... on my freakin' DIESEL!!! Never again... waste of a tire, Pirelli should be embarassed to still be selling it at that price point. Maybe in the $50-$70/each price range...
For cheap rubber, I hear the Ecsta MX are quite good. I might try them next - half the cost of S-03 or Pilots... :p

uhhh neither have the size 235/35/19, everywhere I call it says the tire size is discontinued, and I dont wanna buy a new set of tires cuz the others are pretty new.

I also agree that the Pirelli P7000's are crap. I had the Super Sports. Went from OEM 16" to 234/45/17 and the car became very unstable at high speed. Plue get more noisey. I hope the new replacement, PZero Nero is much much better.

I recently put a set of used 18" Carlsson wheels on my car with P7000s. Are they really noisy? The car almost sounds like it has a bad wheel bearing. I know it doesn't because it was fine before with the factory wheels. They also seem to like to find their own grooves in the road, and you have to steer more to drive the car on rough uneven roads. The tires are like new, but in a way I almost want to replace them. Is this normal?
