Twin spoke wheel question

Anyone know if AMG makes the twin spokes in a 9.5 for the rear with the same (or within 1/8 inch) backspacing. I would like to move the rear wheels and tires to the front and then put 275's in back to help correct the understeer. I need to get the rear to stick out a little more to match the look at the front and dont want to use a spacer. The big 55's use a 9.5 I believe. Anyone know if the offsets are similar? Ideally, an 18x9.5 in the rear with the same backspacing as the stock wheel would bring the outside of the wheel out a half inch and match the front nicely.
I would also love to have a little mor lip on the back wheel which the s class cars seem to have.

Your question is a bit confusing.....

What car do you have now??? And what wheels and size 18"? 19"? one-pc? multi-pc? do you want to put? I dont quite get what you have and what do you want to achieve. Can you please explain a bit more?

The only thing that I can answer you is AMG wheels generally dont have much lip.

Sorry, I wasn't thinking when I posted this. The car is a W211 E55. I want to move the rears to the front(this would increase wheel width by an inch and increase tire size from 245 to 265). I would then like to up the rear wheel size to a 9.5 inch wheel like the bigger cars have and put a 275 tire on the rear. The end result would leave me with more grip all the way around, but a larger increase in the front than the rear. This will help reduce the understeer on the car. I have heard that the big cars have a little mor lip at the rear. I am ussuming that perhaps this means that they have similar backspacing. I could be wrong though as the wheel hub could be different in width.

Oh, the stock wheels are 18x8 fr and 18x9 rr

Oh...ok....now I get it.

Unfortunately, the AMG Style IV 18" one-pc only comes in 18x8 and 18x9. AMG does not make the same wheel with two widths for the same car. Your stock wheels have offsets of ET30 front and ET39 rear. If you put the rear wheel on the front, the wheel will stick IN 9mm more. And I doubt if 265 tire can be fitted on the front, you might have a rubbing problem with that (I am not 100% sure because I have not seen anyone done that). Putting 275 on the rear is okay, but the problem is there is no wheel available except the stock ones. Lastly, even if you can do what you want, 265/40/28 front and 275/35/18 rear have dfferent tire diameters, the reading from your speedo will not be right. You should keep the closest diameter between the front tire and the rear.

Looking at my AMG parts list, there is one possibility that might solve your problem: get the Style III 18" in 18x8.5 ET30/18x9.5 ET33. But then, the diameter difference problem can never be solved....

AMG have 275 tires on the E55 last year, but they noticed the car has a very serious understeer problem, I heard that all the new E55s will have 265 tires now. I think the way best is for you to stick with 245 front and 265 rear.

I mounted the rear wheels on the front to test them. They fit fine. I would use the 265/35 rear tires on the front. 275/35 rears would only be a couple mm different in height from the fronts. In fact, there is a large difference from the factory front to rear tires than from the 265-275 combo. The only problem I'm left with is the difference in looks. Also, I was hoping to get just the slightest bit more lip to the rear. I understand the CL has a slightly larger lip. I wonder fif this is true, and if so, what the offset/backspacing is.

One last thing. The speedo my car is just a bit fast (maybe a percent or so) The chang from a 265 to a 275 should help offset that almost fully.

depends on the weather
the W211 uses a 245 front and a 265 rear ... by using the 265 in the front and a 275 in the rear the traction control will go nuts ... the best way to eliminate the understeer is to improve the rear sway bar

There is only 2/10 of an inch difference between the 245, 265, and 275 tires. No matter what I put in the way of tires on the car, I do not expect electronic issues. The problem is finding a rear wheel that will do what I want. It appears the wheel mentioned by Harris would do the trick. I had the 211 version of that on my E500 and I prefer the style IV. The style III at least gives me an option though.
