Vibration after adding aftermarket rims

I just got some rims for my ride and not too happy with ride quality. I got a set of Carlsson 1/6 Evo rims. The car is Brilliant Silver and the wheels are also silver with a polished lip.

Front: 19x8.5 235-35-19
Rear : 19x10 265-30-19

It looks great but after getting them put on, I am getting a very severe vibration between 45mph and 80mph. I am not too sure what the problem could be.

I'm not sure if it could be the lug bolts. They were purchased from Tire Rack.

It drives straight so I don't know if alignment will fix it.

Any suggestions.

Thanks

I'm not sure how tight the Carlsson's hub centric ring is, but on some wheels the hub centric ring is a very tight compression type fit. I mention this because when you put your rims on you might not have actually got the rim right up against the hub, even though the torque wrench indicated correct torque.

depends on the weather
an alignment most likely will not help because alignment issues do not cause vibrations. I would suggest that you locate a shop with a GSP9700 balancer. You can find a shop with one of those using this link:

The GSP9700 is the best balancer on the market and is basically idiot proof and can diagnose vibration problems

I had a similar problem with my 18" Brabus Monoblock V Multipiece rims. I had them balanced several times, however, that only slightly solved the problem. When I switched to 19" BBS LMs the problem immediately went away. Strangely, I sold the rims to an owner of an E class and he had no vibration problems....hmmm.

The only place that I know of, because I got mine there, is
PERFORMANCE WHEEL & TIRE in Englewood Colorado

I guess that if you cant find them locally, you could give them a call as a last resort.

Good Luck
