Sorry Rich but these places are very expensive. They charge between $125-150 bucks per wheel !!!

You guys need to try the following shops in Santa Ana. They charge $35-40 per wheels and do excellent work.

Speedway
(714) 542-7778

Mag Masters
(714) 541-9777

Wheel Repair in San Gabriel Valley

Jimmy,

$35-40, such a great price. Do you know anybody in the San Gabriel valley charging the similiar price? A couple of my wheels in the showroom needs to get some minor fix.

You can also reach me at dachen@canautoclub.com.

Thanks.

No, sorry I don't know of any other shops with these prices. There are a few shops just 5-10 mins. from me and they charge $120-150 bucks, that's rediculous! That's why I have to drive about 45 mins. all the way down to Santa Ana to get my wheels repaired. Believe me, it's worth the drive.

Thank you.

Thank you Jimmy.

I think all of my customers will happy to hear this great news. From LA to Santa Ana, not that far. Plus I can collect enough rims and send them to there once. It's definitely worth the time to drive there.

Thanks.

Should you have any other good suggestions, please let me know. I really need your experience and help. I can be reached at dachen@canautoclub.com.

I don't know about much experience but I try to help where I can, lol. Now, what else do you need to know? Send me a PM if I can help in any other way and I'll do my best. The people on this site have helped me with a lot of stuff so it's always nice to be able to give a little back...

Probably around the same or maybe a few more bucks as I take them 19's all the time from my friends shop. The shop that I use the most is Speedway although I have used Mag Masters and so has JoshK and we can both attest they are equally great. I have already trusted them with my Carlssons, real Brabus, AC Schnitzers, Hartges, AMG's, etc. etc...Don't worry, they do great work and guarantee it.

Do you have pics of their work? $40 a wheel sounds too good to be true, what does that include?

Pics. of their work? I don't know what you'd be looking for if you saw the pics. because the wheels look as good as new and you can't tell anything was ever done.

The price includes sanding and buffing out the curb rash and/or scratches on the lip of polished wheels and then clear-coting the lips once again, unless you prefer without the clear-cote as some do.

My wheels should be done in a day or two and as soon as I pick them up I can send you pics. if you'd like. Send me a PM as a reminder so that I don't forget.

Okay, here's the scoop on the wheel repair shops. I just found out that Speedway has increased their prices. They are still the same about $40.00/wheel for getting out curb rash and scratches for the lips of polished wheels but that's without clear-coat. To get the above done including clear now costs about $60.00/wheel, still cheap. Also, they may take over a week to get it done.

Now Mag Masters takes around 3 days and charges $35.00/wheel for getting out curb rash and scratches from the lips of polished wheels without clear-coat as well and they don't recommend clear-coating. They say that the wheels will not rust and it will be easier to remove rash and scratches in the future without the clear and without removing the tire in some cases. They will also high polish the lips if you would like to an almost chrome like finish.

I took mine now to Mag Masters as I saw the work they did on Josh's Carlssons and they look perfect.

Great stuff Jimmy...thnx for doing the research on that, those shops clearly offer the best prices...just wonder what they would charge for same day service, I'll hit them up when the time comes.

Actually, if Mag Masters is not busy, they will turn your wheels around the same day. They will also take appointments for same day turnarounds. They estimate taking just several hours to refinish 4 lips if you have an appointment. Here is all of their info:

Mag Masters
1419 E. Edinger Ave.
Santa Ana, CA 92705

Directions:
5 Fwy South to
55 Fwy South
Exit Edinger - Left
2nd. driveway on the right, passed S. Grand Ave.
(right behind Wienerschnitzel)

Well yeah I have 2 shops right down the street from me as well but they charge to refinish one wheel what I would pay for four at Mag Masters.

How much does TWS charge since your friend's wheel is there???

Thanks...
