Does anyone have any pictures of HRE 847R wheels with a brushed aluminum finish and polished lips ?

Or for that matter any 8xxR series wheel ? I am trying to picture what one would look like.

That pic looks very familiar! Hehehe! Warren, too bad that you've chosen iForged. Maybe next time.

Adam, I have one 841R pic on a R230 (maybe warren can show that as well, he has my pic), dont know if you're interested or not (not brushed aluminum though). That's a 3.5" lip, but on your car, you can only go 2.5".

Believe it or not, I am not a big fan of deep lips. 2.5" may even be too over the top for me. Can the offset be adjusted safely for my car in order to achieve a smaller lip in the rear ?

Hahaha....you are the first person I've ever met who wants a smaller lip! 2.5" is perfect for your car, anything less will look silly. I think (have to confirm) that HRE can bring it down to 2", but trust me, it wont look good with 2".

LOL Haris. You know what the problem may be.... When I think of a 2.5" lip I think of the exposed portion being 2.5" . Maybe I am wrong. When you say 2.5" maybe you mean that is the whole outer lip length, meaning part of it is covered by the center therefore the flat part is not the full 2.5" ?!?!?

Harris,

It was a very tough decision. I am far too inexperienced with rims, fitments, etc. to drop $8K on a set of wheels (although I do have the funds). Once I've had these wheels on my car for a decent amount of time, I will be much more comfortable ordering HRE's. It was just an easy decision since the IFORGED headquarters are literally miles from me.

Anyhow, when I'm ready to step up to HRE's on this vehicle or one of my others, you will be the man I call. Thanks for your help!

Is the bend which runs vertically up towards the tire included in that 2.5 " ?

The edge from the center piece to the edge of the outer rim.

That explains why a 3.5" lip doesn't look a full 3.5". The outer fold of the rim takes up a good .5" -.75" itself.

Which in my case is good news.
