shaking at 60mph
Over the weekend i had my rims put on and since then ive felt some vibration in the steering wheel. The wheels are 19x9 with 235/35/19's. My shop told me that they needed 1/4 inch spacers on the rear because the lug bolts were too long and that i would also need a thinner spacer up front but they needed to order them. The reason for the spacer up front is because the tires are scraping on the inside frame of the car when turning. Is there a special type of spacer for are car because the one that they put on looked generic.

depends on the weather
sounds like the wheels are not properly designed for the car and not only have the wrong offset but, the wrong center bore as well ... why not buy wheel that actually fit the car correctly

I made a mistake above with the width of the rim...its 19x8.5 not 9.
But anyhow, the guys at my shop has delt with plenty of benzs so i would hope that they would know about the correct offset/center bore. And with the rims being a ld1 replica i didnt think that there would be a problem.
The offset is a 35mm....this should fit my car correctly, right??
Its easier to just go this rout. The wheel is a diablo vienna2, should these fit my car????

my guess would be the spacers are probably pushing the center bore of the wheel out far enough that it will not line up on the hub and that's why you are gettin the vibration ... the wheel is not centered on the hub and they are trying to center it with the lugs which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't ... 35mm offset would be correct but, the spacer is making it a 20 something offset
