Unhappy my rims are finally here...but has fitment problem (LUKE I need your help!)

I just came back from my brother's friend's place and have try to put the rims on the car, with the 18x8.5 et35 and 18x9.5 et38. The front rims although clears the big caliper the inner lip has little space in between the shocks casing. (about this wide--> l...l ) I'm worry that after I put on the tires it will rub against the shocks. The rear definitely works, but has the same problem of having little space in between the wheel wall lining.

The tires I'm looking for are 225/40 and 255/35.

I'm wondering what should I do? They don't have 18x8 and 18x9 and I don't want to go to 19's

If I get the hub centric spacer how much mm would I need?

I'll be posting in the wheel forum as well...any help is much welcome, thanks guys.

the Lorinser LM-6 replica. It's an exact duplicate of the LM-6, but in one piece instead of two.

depends on the weather
I typically recommend an offset of 25-32 for 8.5's on a C32 and have not had any clearance problems

Try using 5mm-10mm and see if that helps.

FYI, the Authentic Lorinser (LM-5, they don't make LM-6 in 18") has an offset of 31 for both 8.5" and 9.5".

I had replicas...

I had replicas on my c32. I had the brabus VI style in a 19x8.5 and 19x9.5. I had to use a 10mm spacer for the front to clear the calipers. but I couldnt find hub-centric spacers that would work on the front hub of the C32. I got a lot of shimmying while driving associated with this. so my suggestiin to you is to find the right spacer if you can.
