Question on suspension for my W209
Hi guys. I have a W209 CLK 320. I would like to lower my car and I am just wondering is it better to change the whole suspension or just change the spring of my car? Will changing the whole suspension gives a more comfortable ride compared to just changing the spring? If I just change the spring, will the stock shocks work fine with the new spring? If so, what type of suspension or spring do you guys recommend? Thanks a bunch!
Note: I don't quite understand about suspension so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Anytime you change springs to lower the car, your shocks will wear out quicker due to the fact that they will be compressed all the time. You don't have to change your shocks right away if you don't mind driving around bouncing all over the place, until they give up.

2003 CLK 320
I have the stock shocks and brabus springs, at 13,000 miles now, I think I noticed my suspension got bouncier about 2-3000 miles ago. Time to get new shocks. So the stock shocks should last you about 10k. Trying to decide now to get bilstein or coilovers... Any suggestions?
