19" tires recommandation 235/35/19 and 265/30/19
I've been thinking about going to get the 19" wheels to replace the current 18" that I run on the car.
but I'm pretty lost on what kind of tires are available for 19 inch wheels. 235/35/19 and 265/30/19.
I've been searching, so far the only one that I found is Nitto 555 w/ good 300AA tread wear rating and decent price.
can anyone recommand other brand that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

The Hankook K104 Tires Saves You Lots Of Money
We Were Going To Buy Nitto Tires from Tires.com
When Found Out That The Hankook 235/35r19 Was Priced $30. Less per tire than the Nittos. And that The 265/30r19 Were $70. Less Per Tire. They Seem to be just as good if not a little better than the Pirelli Tires (p7000) that were on the car originally...and can you believe those cost more than Nittos!

Falken FK-451 are resonably priced and are pretty good.

If you want some really nice 19's for your C32 then i would definately get these that are on E-bay.com
They are pretty cheap and look amazing. Im thinking of buying a C-class as an excuse to buy these rims cuz they are so good looking and cheap.

So far I've used:
555's NO WET TRACTION
SP9000's Very good wet traction, but squirm in the dry.
Nero's for the front only; excellent dry, very good wet.
T-1S's haven't failed me yet, but only have them on the rears, until I waste the Neros up front.

T1-S sounds good from what you guys describe, but how are the tread rating and price?

As far as tread rating; the numbers are:
Treadwear 280
Traction AA
Tempature A
If you are really concerned about treadwear, don't get 19's, get 18's and all season tires. Do some online research, and make a decision that YOU can live with.
Good luck!

Tire Wear Problems
I had two sets of Toyo Proxes T1-S on my lowered (Lorinser springs) '01 C320 and they wore out really quick (235/35/19 fronts on the inside and 265/30/19 rears all the way across) plus they got loud and rough as they wore out. I went with ContiSport and ContiSport2 and am on my second se to those now. They are much quieter, smoother, and are lasting me a lot longer. But I want the aggressive tread pattern again so I might go with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3, Falken GRB-451, or even Yokohama AVS Sport. I don't like tires that have split tread pattern as they make the overall look more narrow, otherwise I'd consider Hankook Ventus Sport K104 or Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712. I live in SoCal where it's normally dry plus it's my wife's daily driver so I can't give you too much detailed feedback on performance issues, especially in the wet. As info in case it helps.
