OK, two things....One, to cut a rotor properly takes a good 45 minutes to measure and set up.. so who ever is offering to cut your's is a hack. 2nd, MB Specificly states that their rotors are not to be cut.
124's rotors are a on a small/thin side to begin with, all cutting them will do is make them even more prone to warpage. Considering that I sell front's for 40 a side cutting makes zero sense.

But I'd like to read more about these "statements" that MB makes.

Where can I find these rotors for $40.00. Do you sell other parts that cheap?
I did turn my rotors on my E 320 and it came out fine. There is a thickness limit stamped in the rotor. The " Hacks" have turned rotors for many years for Yugo's to Rolls and they are fine as long as you stay within the limits. There is no mechanical or metallic diffrence in the rotor after they are turned. That rule was just laid down so the Dealerships could make more money.
