How much can I sell these for? The rims are in very good condition. The tires have only been driven on for 10,000 miles, so they are still 80% intact. How much can I sell this set of 4 wheels/tires for?

No flame, but if you have 10k miles on those tires there is no way that they are still good for 40k more based on your 80% reference above.

huh??? after 1k miles and still have 80% tread left???? wowowo

I saw those on ebay for 1400 shipped with brand new tires

Okay I'm not too good with tires, maybe I was wrong when I said 80% left. But the tires are in very good condition, so I wasn't off by much.

Rim width? Tire sizes? Offset? I know you are looking for input on price, but do you have a ballpark asking price?
Dec 6, 2008 | 06:29 PM

^ Well I'm not sure about the width and offset. Is there anywhere on the wheels that I can check? They are Mercedes AMG wheels, so does the width and offsets vary that much?

I'm looking to get atleast $1500 (plus shipping) for them....

You can find those info at the back of each wheel (part#, offset, width, etc).

Fronts are 18x9 and the backs are 18x10.

Why can't I edit my thread title to say FOR SALE instead of PRICE CHECK?

Whats the ET#? Do you have pics of the actual tire tread taken at the wear marks? Etc.

This is one of the reasons why a guess of % available is meaningless; especially when telling how many miles are already on the tires.

^ What is an ET#?

I highly doubt you'll even get close to $1500 for them. There's another member selling them for $600.

^ really? I got an offer through craigslist for $1000. Should I just take that and run?
Dec 8, 2008 | 04:06 PM

take the 1k

the only thing good about those wheels.. is the width.. 8.5/9.5

most E class wheels are 8/9 or 8.5/9

so.. it would be a nice upgrade to most E class car, but the offset is a bit off, but will work.

probably best if you can keep them for spares... but if you need the money $1k is a fair price.

I'd say take the $1000

8.5x18 et25 front 255/40/18
9.5x18 et28 rear 275/35/18

If they came off a 2008 CLS550

For Sale: 18'' AMG Twin-Spoke Wheels
These came off a 2007 CLS 550. My cousin measured the wheels to be 18x9 and 18x10. They come with tires that are still 70-75% good. I am looking to get $1250 (plus shipping, unless it's a local pick-up) for them. The condition of the rims is very good, i'd give them a 9.3/10. The wheels are available for pickup in the Bay Area (Dublin, CA).

you won't get that. try ebay.
Dec 16, 2008 | 09:33 PM

What did your cousin measure the wheels with? A ruler? It should say on the wheel itself.
Dec 17, 2008 | 06:52 PM
  #19
^ yeah I know it should say on the wheel, but he couldn't find the spot on the wheel where it says the size.

anyway, these wheels need to be sold. Post any offers.

If you ever consider breaking the set up I am interested in the fronts only.
Dec 21, 2008 | 06:17 PM
  #23
^ How much are you willing to pay for the fronts?

Can someone tell me exactly where on the wheel does it have the width and offset?
Dec 21, 2008 | 10:10 PM
  #24
It is cast into the wheel on the back side of one of the spokes.

Front Wheel Size: 18" x 8.5" 25mm offset
Rear Wheel Size: 18" x 9.5" 28mm offset
Bolt Pattern: 5x112

Should look like this.

^ I'm working on the offset....wheels are at a family member's home, and they are gone for the holidays.

EDIT: The numbers are just like the pics you provided.

18x8.5 with a 25 offset in the front.
18x9.5 with a 28 offset in the back.
