SL Takeoffs....
Sold my 05 SL with Sport and have the OE sport 18" wheels. These are the "alphard" design, the dished style with the aerodymanic slots. 8.5/9.5/18. Rear tires are correct Michelin Pilot Sport AS that are almost new. Fronts are original Pilots that are drivable, but that's about all. Wheels in good shape, 2 have light curb rash easily repaired. Caps, no lugs. I'll have pictures shortly, or email me and I'll send them to you. Nice upgrae for Non sport car, or R129 previous SL. I'd like to get $600 for the package, or something close. 2 new Pilot AS are around $600 now, so that should be reasonable. Please, check your fitments as I cannot be repsonsible for other aplications. Thanks.

See if these come up
they are in better shape than I recall. Only one has a curb mark, and the finish is extremely good.

I have them....
but these are not technically OE for a 55. I'm relatively sure they will work, though. I'm going to give it another day or two with us guys here, then I'll prolly Ebay them. PM me if I can help more.

OK,
fronts are 255/40 /18 ET 35, rears are 285/35/18, ET40. This is OE stuff for late R230 SL with Sport package.

Sorry, been out of town...
if any of you that have called/mailed want to do thiis, gimme a hit. Had a death in the family and been out of the loop. If not, I'll send them over to Ebay. Need the room--too much stuff in the garage!

Don't think the clearance would be an issue...
as long as your car does not have Performance package....but you're right, want to be sure..thanks.

Mmmm, maybe, but...
with the auction up and a few watchers, prolly want to let that run. Wouldn't be a whole lot cheaper, but would make the freight a lot less to ship wheels only. Let's chat in a couple days if you want....
