I would definately stay away from the softer tires such as pilot sports with the AZ summer heat, those PS do not last long on those freeways.
Sumotomos are cheap, and they are tires. I've had good luck with the dunlop sp9000 tires in the summer heat. These dunlop direzza tires are for climates above 40 degrees F. They seem to ride better when they are warmer.
Well let me know what you figure out. I noticed your wtb add, wanting 265 wide rear tires? usually people go with 245/40 and 275/35, why do you want 265?

I'm looking to go with the OEM Spec for tires 245/40 and 265/35. I'll definitely let you know.
