FS: Carlsson 3/6 18x8.5 3 piece w/Tires +2 18x10s, bolt tools, extras
This listing is mostly a copy/paste from my ad on the VW forum, so adapter/hub info does not apply.
The wheels:
(4) Carlsson 3/6
18x8.5
et35
3 piece
5x112, 66.5mm centerbore, Mercedes fitment
Mfg. By OZ Racing
Fully Polished, including detail work.
No bends, no curb rash whatsoever, balanced properly
Sealed properly, have been running for over a year and a half with no leaking issues.
BBS bolt on valve stems.
Bolts torqued to spec, no issues with backing out, no loctite needed.
Hard to find metal centercaps, not the plastic ones.
Extremely rare wheels...just try to find another.
Ready to run with 215/40-18 Falken 512's with plenty of tread.
The "other" wheels:
(2) 18x10 Carlsson 3/6
Not fully assembled and sealed.
Chromed, but in not great shape.
Offset too low to fit a wheel this wide on the VW that that 18x8.5s are currently on. Not an issue for Mercedes, as the hub is set in further from the fender arch.
The adapters (does not apply to Mercedes):
Fronts are 20mm motorsport tech adapters, year and a half old
Rears are 25mm adaptec adapters, not even a year old
All include short head bolts
All are hubcentric to mk4 hubs, and the wheels.
OZ Bolt tools:
Difficult to find and expensive, allow dissasembly of these wheels.
All extra bolts I have will also be included.
Tires:
215/40-18
Falken 512s
Always run blanced, and with the alignment within spec.
Never had problems with leakage.
Beads properly seated.
Professionally mounted and leak tested by Competition Engineering at Moroso in Guilford, CT
Pics:
Different set, in chrome and I heard the offsets might have been different. So you can see how the spare 18x10's im including might look:
Im far from desperate to get rid of these. In fact, Im not even sure if I want to yet. Lowball all you want, but its not gonna work. Just trying to gauge interest.
Price: $2800 for everything. Lower price negotiable minus adapters, bolt tools, etc.
