FS: O.Z. Racing Mito II Modular wheels 18x8.5 and 18x10 with Pirelli Pzero Rosso
I know I'm gonna regret this, epsecially for the price I'm asking :banghead: but its time to go big (20's) on the benzo.
Specs are:
Front: 18x8.5 et20 with 225/40/18 Pirelli PZero Rosso
Rear: 18x10 et19 with 255/35/18 Pirelli PZero Rosso
Wheels are in overall "good" condition, especially for being nearly 18 years old! (made in 1994) All rims have some clearcoat pealing on the lips and the front stars have some paint fade on the side of the spoke. The tires have around 40-60% tread left, and they are quality not cheap chinese Faklens. (around $1k for a set)
Asking $1400 firm or $1600 O.B.O.
add $200 for for shipping, pick up in LA is free.

I dont see why not, there 5x112 and the center bore is 66.56 which is all mercedes, front should clear your brakes as the front star is high dish, rear is low disk and may require a 5mm spacer if you got huge calipers out back too.
If your local your welcome to come and testfit...

These wheels have very low offsets.
There are only four (4) Mercedes models these will properly fit (without protruding past fenders edge):
all 1990-2002 SL (R129)
all 2003-2011 SL (R230) except AMG63 & 65
all CLS (C219) except AMG63
500E (W124).
On a W211 E63, rear wheels will stick out passed fenders by about 1".

I don't see why a W211 would have higher offset prerequisites then a W210, especially an AMG. As you can see from the photos above the tire does not protrude out past my W210's fender at all. I don't have 295's on the 10's, either way, thanks for your opinion.
Anyways, I guarantee these will fit on a W210 without any rubbing issues at all, can't guarantee other models till I test fit.

heres a better picture to give you an idea, as you can see theres still room for a 10mm spacer up front and the rear you can still fit a pinky between the tire and fender.

As far as why it wouldn't fit R230 SL63 and SL65 - those cars come from factory with 19" wheels due to huge calippers and rotors, 18" wheels most likely will not fit regardless of offset.
All above is not just my opinion - when OZ were still headquartered in Miami, I dealt with them directly. I had and still have a lot of OZ wheels, including these Mitos and Operas II with same offsets - they do fit SLs and W124 E500, but not W211. Period.

lots of cars
^^^ this is why I don't come on MBworld anymore. Wheel experts crapping on peoples for sale threads ...
This is a w211 on low offset CLS wheels with 255/front 285 rear. I'm sure 275/30 on a 18x10 wheel wouldn't be a problem.

BTW, oem CLS wheels are 9.5" wide et25, not 10" wide et25 as was stated earlier.
Also, these are 10" wide et19 so they do extend extra 12mm or 1/2" (extra 6mm for lower offset plus additional 6mm for wider wheels) over your 9.5" wide et25 wheels, add proper tire width for E63 - that's an extra inch over. Here, plug the numbers: http://1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
What I'm saying is that we actually tried fitting OZ Opera II 18x10 et19 (identical specs as these OZ Mitos) with 285/35-18 tires on several W211 cars - combination was about an inch passed fender, owners declined fitment. In fact, even on your car, regardless of posted pictures, wheels (9.5" wide with et25) and tires (285) as you specified should have yelded fitment passed fenders on stock otherwise unaltered car.
Per OZ specs these are to fit only cars I posted above. Here, have fun:http://www.wheelmachine2000.de/cgi-l...=alle¶m=rd

ok Mr. OZ, you of all people then should know that rim width is completely irrelevant in relation to how far the tire sits from the fender, everything is completely dependent on offset. Meaning a 285 tire will sit at the exact same distance from the fender on an 9.5" rim as on an 10" rim as long as the offset is the same. Since the CLS wheel has a 6mm deeper offset a 285 tire would sit exactly 6mm further out when mounted on my 10" wheel. 6mm equals less then a 1/4". I don't know where your getting this 1" from.
The person with the E63 asked if the wheels would fit his car, not if the wheels would fit his car with a different tire. AGAIN, I'm selling the wheels with the above mentioned tires, not a 265, not a 275, and definatly not with a 285 If hes looking for that ultimate performance wheel/tire package that will get him down the dragstrip the fastest, then these are probably not for him as with all multi piece wheels, there heavy.
so please GTFO of my thread, as I did not ask for your FLAWED OPINION

Wow....I did not mean to light a fire. They are one of my favorite wheels ever, and would have liked to put them on my E63....but evidently that is just not something that can happen (properly) with these.
On the plus side, I hope someone buys these! They are BEAUTIFUL wheels, and very classy. Good luck to the seller!
