FOR TRADE- HRE 547r
Gents,
My stock black wheels turned out better then I thought and I'm really into them.
Sitting on my balcony, stacked like the Mavs, are my precious HRE 547R's. I've had several offers for sale but I really dont know what I'd replace them with. So, I am interested in looking at trades.
These wheels are 19's, staggered set up. I would look at other 19' wheels. I really want the SL65 stockers but am am open to any suggestions.
Let me know what you got!

Anyway, I decided to refinish them! I really loved the way the stockers turned out and I thought why not try it on the HRE's? So here are a couple teaser pics...
What do you guys think I should do the lips? Flat, Gloss, or Black Chrome??
And as per your request, some pics of the stockers....
BTW, if anyone needs help in refinishing their wheels, please feel free to hit me up, I'd love to help any way I can!

Stockers look good and so do the HRE's
What did you use to paint them? What prep work did you have to do? How is it holding up? I've been thinking of doing this to my stockers too, just curious how big of a job this is.

^ It's an easy DIY. All you need is a good space, some patience, and some good supplies.
Basically, you just wnt to make sure to sand prior to painting. You also want to use an etching primer, Duplicolor is where it's at. I did the sand/wash/primer/sand/paint/wet sand/wash and the wheels look killer.
If you have bone stock stockers just trade me. I want stock wheels and my stockers are legit.
If you need more help on a DIY please feel free to email me, if you want to trade that's great too!

What are the specs on the HRE's?
If you can make it to nor cali, i might be interested in trading for my DPE's.
Pictures are on the previous owners car.

Here's a before and after pic, I think they're coming along just fine!
I will finish the project I started and do all of them. I just ordered a black chrome kit from Duplicolor. Not sure if I'm married to the idea but it wasn't too expensive and its an option...
