SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought these wheels to fit on my 500E (W124), but figured they would also look good on my 500SL (R129). I actually have a second set of these that I’d be willing to sell as well that have 12mm hubcentric spacers in the rear. My plans were to have one set body color (Spruce Green) and one set as pictured in Brabus factory silver, but have decided to go with some 3pc Monoblock II’s instead. I don’t know, I have some OZ/MAE Futura’s as well that I could use, and may end up selling. Let me know what you’re looking for.

Sizes:
18x8.5 et35 front, 18x9.5 et35 rear
5x112 bolt pattern
225/40 ZR 18 front, 255/35 ZR 18

Condition of wheels:
Good condition overall with some signs of use both on lips and on faces of wheels. They are ready to run as is. No cracks or other major defects. Come see them in person or if from out of town, will provide detail pics.

Condition of tires:
Worn with a little life left in them.

Shipping:
Willing to ship from 90068 as well as remove tires beforehand both at cost to buyer.
Local pickup welcome in 90068.

Price:
$1,800.00 obo.
Serious buyers please provide phone #.

Hi,

I'm considering wheels for my r129 SL500. Do you have pictures of these on your SL?

Sorry, I have no pics of them mounted on my SL. I'd throw them on now and take pics, but my SL is in my garage under a pile of parts as it is not currently operational.

Would you sell just the wheels? I'm going to try and find a picture of them on a r129. Hopefully I find one on a black car.

I can remove the tires for shipping, but I attribute zero value to the tires and removing them would not bring down the price. It actually increases my costs by about $40 to have them removed, but this is more than made up for when shipping.

do you know the weights?

Wheels are pretty light. Without tires I'd say each wheel weighs somewhere between 21-24 lbs, and twice that with tires.

Yes, the nicer set is the only set remaining.

The other set was mounted on this wagon.

Did you ever get a chance to weigh these? I am very interested in the wheels, in the SFV and can pick up this weekend.

Thanks

Hey Jordan,

Never weighed them as I never dismounted the tires. Sorry.

Don't really understand why you are so concerned about the weight, as they are three piece wheels that I presume you are intending to mount on your Mercedes. Go for a forged one piece, and maybe get a BMW while you're at it. .

The Monoblock IV's were some of the lightest 3pc wheels that I've ever owned, and I've owned more than a dozen sets of 3pc wheels made by all the European manufacturers. If you do go 3pc and are still concerned about weight, the IV's are definitely a wheel that I would recommend for your application.

Basically, I don't want to decrease the performance of the car with heavier wheels. Congrats on the sale
