After applying strips on both sides, remove wedges, lift headliner up and push forward to attach Male to Female strips. It not necessary for 100% attachment, just enough to adhere the sides together. Clean up pencil marks, test Open and Close roof, test drive and enjoy your now Quiet R230 Roadster again!

I separated the Female and Male Velcro strips, cutting and attaching the Female to the roof in several strips 4-5 inches each across the back edge of the roof, and a 10 or so smaller 2 inch size male strips attached to the headliner in the gaps between the previous attachments and support arms. You will use more female strip material as a result. This picture shows Female installation on one side of old fastener, I put it end to end on roof.

Feel the underside of headliner for the former attachment points and the hidden support arms inside headliner, I marked those with pencil, as the flat gaps in between are the targets for Velcro tape.
