The car boasts of a 422hp, 540Nm and 8-cylinder engine. The vehicle
also accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 4.6 seconds. Meanwhile, the front
apron of the machine has AMG original LED daytime running lights and
large air inlets.
The 2012 SLK55 also sports light alloy wheels, two-chrome plated
twin tailpipes and a spoiler lip. Another great thing about the style is exclusive to top V8 models: its dark clear-lens headlamps and dark
bicolor tail lamps. Another option is to have the Bi-Xenon healights

an AMG rear axle lock, three spoke AMG performance steering wheel in
premium leather finish and Alcantara grip inserts and two piece disc
brakes.
The interior of the SLK 55 AMG is like that of the SLS. It has a
brushed aluminum center console, jet-engine style air vents and sports
seats with Airscarf neck-level heating. In addition to this stunning
interior design is the hardtop that closes and opens in 20 seconds or
less. A buyer can also opt to have the one with Magic Sky Control system
with glass that can make the inside dark or bright with just a press of
a button. The wind-stop is not to be snubbed as well, as it is a new
system which is called the Airguide. The plastic wings attached to the
back of the roll-over bars can be pivoted, so there is not need to
remove it.
The Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG will be showcased at the Frankfurt Motor
Show next month and is set to be delivered in dealerships early next
year. The cost, as announced by the company, will be 72,590 Euros.
