The newest version of Mercedes’ GL-Class will be officially showing it’s face at the NYC autoshow later this year, according to Car and Driver Magazine. Spy shots have already uncovered the new 2013 GL romping around in the snow last month, but New York will give us an honest look.

We know the GL will keep its three rows of seating with bumps in all the expected areas of space, efficiency, and “luxury.” It’ll also likely retain the popular diesel v6 as an option for those looking to save on fuel. If gas isn’t a problem, the GL will likely be getting the twin-turbo 400hp V8 also. AMG is getting in on the action too, with their 5.5L, 515hp lump powering their version of the GL.
