How can I get the rear seat to fold?
Okay so I tried to research through the forms to figure out how to drop the rear seat but i could not find anything. I have a 2003 C230 kompressor and it does not come with the package where i can fold my rear seat. And when i was looking through the old forums i could not find anything out. the reason i want to drop my seats is because i am putting a system in my car so im trying to figure out how to run the wires so if i cant drop the seat is there another way to run my wires? please help trying to do my system tonight lol
Thanks,
Al
Thanks,
Al

How thick are the wires? I have folding seats, but when I ran the wires for my backup cam I taped the end of the wire to a wooden dowel (anything thin but not sharp...) and used it as a snake to get the wire into the trunk. Pushed it through the area at the edge of the very last piece of leather (not where the seats fold) that area goes right down into the wiring chase which is under the door sills. Be gentle - there are other wires and fibers in that area.

i ran 4 gauge wire threw there just by taking out the bottom of the rear seat.. its light.. all there is is 4 bolts holding it in place, under those 4 black clip things, pull them off but be careful cause a few of mine broke... when its off just slide the wire into the trunk

on the passager side if you take out that cushion where the seat belt rests in the rear seats near the quarter panel. There's a tunnel of wires where the oem wiring goes. You can just snake your wires with the oem wires into the trunk.

I just pulled up the edge of the bottom of the seat where it meets the door on the passenger side, and simply snaked the wire through there, but mine's 8 gauge.

...a panty dropper...
For my system the easiest way was to just remove the entire back seat so you can hide the wires better rather than stuffing and tucking them. Its your choice though but its not that difficult to remove the back seat and besides you might find some change under the seat haha. GL with the install.
