AMG exhaust for my 99 E430
Hey guys, i just replaced a lot of stuff in my E430, including new motor mounts, new Bridgestone Turenza with serenity. My car is at 148,400 miles and do not know what to else to replace or fix, suspension is still stock, transmission mount is still stock, control arm and ball joint is still stock, so yea before i spend the rest of my money left please let me know what important things i have to change before i go play around with the unimportant things. I have some money left to change my stock muffler to something else that lets people around know that my car has a V8 in it. I travel on highway for almost 100 miles everyday and so i dont want a muffler that has a drowning sound at like 2000 to 3000 rpm, but when i get on the throttle i want to hear the engine roar. So, i need your help in deciding what muffler to put in and just to let you guys know that i have already did that resonator delete and put straight pipes in their place and also the secondary CATS are still there. If anybody is also selling a E55 AMG muffler in good condition im willing to buy from you, just email me or private message. Thanks guys. Happy

But i went to the local muffler shop and asked them what exhaust i should put in and asked them if they have any contact that is selling an E55 AMG exhaust for my car, but there wasn't anyone selling an AMG exhaust. The guy who owns the place did tell me that i should put a special Magnaflow muffler that has an in built x-pipe into the muffler and so i went ahead and booked an appointment to put it in. I will post a sound track or a video clip of before and after the muffler replacement. Right now i have the stock E430 muffler with the resonator delete. My appointment is next thursday and so i will post it like friday morning or evening, but i will keep you guys posted.

but in his defense, he did fabricate those end pipes to make the hot exhaust shoot down and not into my rear bumper and melt them. But he did a horrible job on the welds but the inside welds looks kinda good and they are not bad as the ones on the hangers and the end piece.

IM HAPPY WITH THE SOUND AS WELL
Thanks man. It actually burbles if let go of the throttle at about 3,000 to 4,000 RPM. I it amazing!!! I also found that it makes a bunch of popping sound if i let go of the throttle at 4,500 to 5,500 RPM and like when it is coming down to like 2,500 or 2,000 RPM it will make a couple of beefy pop sounds like muscular V10 or V8 engine does in higher end cars. True story, i have been pulled over about 3 to 5 times after i got the muffler, just so the cop can say that i have very cool exhaust sound and one of the cop actually told me to rev up a little. Im a volunteer Fire Fighter in the city i live in and so im friends with most of the cops in the city and those guys are the ones that pulled me over. It was funny.
