Aftermarket wheel Thread.
Contacted my wheel guy today about Vossens, Vorsteiners, ForgeStars, Niches, and VMR's. Still trying to decide if it's worth it to get the high end wheels on these roads...
Edit: pothole on the way to the gym this morning was large enough to swallow the bottom third of the cone that was marking it...

I want the Niche Misano M116's in Anathracite for mine... From reading on this site it looks like I can do 19x8.5 on the front with a +42mm offset and 19x9.5 on the rears with a +50mm offset. Tires are going to be Nittos, 245/35/19 and 275/30/19... Does this sound like it would work? I was pretty sure this was the way to go, but my wheel shop is telling me otherwise...

Pretty sure those are TSW Interlagos wheels, and almost positive I've seen that car before... In fact I almost bought if not that one, one that looked exactly like it..

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

It's considered aggressive since it rubs but our rear fenders have no room what so ever. 265's will fit with careful lowering or minimal fender rolling but some work is required.
Before you press the trigger on those, I am selling my set of Super Turismo LM's 19x8.5 +38 / 9.5 +40 in silver for cheap.

Here is my 2 cents:
-Fronts fit well, but could stand to be a small bit more aggressive maybe 35mm and still be no where near rubbing..
-Rears slightly rub where the bumper meets the rear quarter panel, but only on hard compression like sudden dips at higher speeds, or angling up steep inclines. would definitely go 45 and up especially with no fender rolling..
-A good friend has a 12 coupe and was running 19x10 40mm rears with 275/30/19 PSS's at stock height and was rubbing like crazy.. Just lowered on H&R's, did slight roll on the rear fenders and still had rubbing, but not quite as bad. Milled wheels 3mm to make them 43mm, and the problem completely went away.
HOPE THIS HELPS.. and BTW..Even with no mods, the 255's are way too small for the power our cars put down, would strongly recommend at least 265's.
