Brake fluid help ASAP!

The BRAKE light came on today on my instrument panel with a message saying check the brake fluid level, which I did and its a little low. The problem is that I am leaving tomorrow afternoon on a 300 mile drive (each way) and won't be able to get to a dealership til next week so I wanted to ask for advice. Is there a good brake fluid available an auto parts store like Auto Zone or O'Reilly that will work on my 09 C63 without sacrificing quality, performance, or risking damage? I did a search and read multiple threads but never really got a consensus answer. Everything is factory with the exception of Renntech ECU and the 19" AMG v 16 spoke rims with Nitto INVO tires (which I do not recommend by the way). Can someone please help ASAP!!

Thanks,
Josh

You can use ATE superblue or ATE 200, or Motul RBF 600 and do a brake flush all Dot 4 fluids. Or go to the dealer buy OEM brake fluid they sell and top it off for now.

or take another car, brakes are sorta important

Thank you! Of course I want to take my daily driver but I loaned it to a friend yesterday so he and his family could get to Dallas to purchase a truck and I don't have the heart to ask for it back. But seriously, thank you for your help, it is greatly appreciated.

Just a heads up, anytime your car is low on any fluids, whether it be brake, engine coolant, windshield wiper, power steering the dealership will top it off as a courtesy.
Also why, I'm talking about dealerships, they will also courtesy wash your car for you as well.........

Is it a good idea to do a brake fluid flush when you replace rotors and pads or is brake fluid its own thing?

I'm doing my rotors and pads next weekend, I hope. Just wondering if I should look into changing my brake fluid as well. I'll look in the manual later.

Your input would be appreciated. Thank you, Yuille.

It makes sense to do rotors and fluid and pads at once, but you will be changing fluid more often than rotors at least so its going to happen as a flush only.

Most people say brake fluid every 2 yrs for DD or more if you track it.
