love my car but hate Mercedes corporation
i have been having some issues with my car and i was expecting a lot more from mercedes, and all that i have been getting is excuses....from try this to try that to your transmission if fckd because you drive your car too hard.... but all that i know is that my ride spends more time at the dealer than i do driving it!!!!!
so i made a call to Mercedes Canada, put in a complaint and my car has been at the dealer for a week now and i have not heard from them...
i hope that my car comes out and i can enjoy driving it again, if not i think that my next step will be sending out emails and phone calls to local media and then i think that they will get on the ball!!!!

Go to Victoria Star Motors in Waterloo... I know its far but they will bend over backwards for you! (They will give you a loaner for a week if you need it) They were amazing with my transmission problems and actually know how to properly diagnose a problem!

Just trade it in and move on, some cars are just lemons and it's best to cut your losses early and move on. When cars start giving me more trouble then fun it's time to move on to something new. You might have a bad apple, most cars here are pretty worry free.

MB NA is typical German company. The top management is totally disconnected from the customer when it comes any issues with their products. I find most MB dealers do their best for the customers unless they are owned buy a large group.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Are there lemon laws in Canada. When i was a student i had a nissan Xterra that was in the shop 5 times for the A/C in 18 months. I wrote a letter to Nissan and told them i wanted my money back. They never responded. So 6 weeks later i call headquarters and told them I retained a lawyer and planned on suing them(i never had a lawyer). They said they would get back to me and they did 20 minutes later. They asked where i wanted to drop the car off and i got my money back minus a maybe a grand for the mileage.

Sorry there are bad cars out there like there are bad people. I've been very lucky with my E and my M5 before it, while I know others who have had nightmare cars.

Canada has the following:
The Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan Canada - Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan is the dispute resolution program for consumers in Canada that have problems with the assembly of their vehicle or with how the manufacturer implements its new vehicle warranty. CAMVAP covers new or used owned or leased vehicles that are from the current model year and up to an additional four model years old.
CAMVAP is an arbitration program. It is free to consumers. Hearings are held in the consumer's home community. The process normally takes less than 70 days from start to finish. Most consumers are able to handle their own case without the assistance of lawyers. The manufacturers do not use lawyers. Their representatives usually are serving or retired district parts and services representatives. An inspection of the vehicle normally is part of an arbitration hearing and the arbitrator can order a technical inspection of the vehicle at the program's expense if doing so is required.
CAMVAP arbitrators can order the manufacturer to buyback the vehicle; repair it at the manufacturer's expense; pay for repairs already completed; pay out of pocket expenses for items such as towing, diagnostic testing, rental cars and accommodation related to the problem with the vehicle. The arbitrator can also order that the manufacturer has no liability.
CAMVAP is available in every Canadian Province and Territory.
