C63 Number Plate Holder Delete
Hi guys,
I thought I might share a little mod I did today.
I never liked the look for the number plate holder, it was too thick and big for our number plates (I am in Sydney Australia), so I decided to remove it.
All up took 10 minutes and I think it looks much better than with it on.
Not sure on the width of the different number plates around the world, but ours are 370mm wide, which means I could use the existing holes in the bumper.
Here is an after pic and quick run down on how i did it.

Champion! I will do this mod too. I have been looking at the awkward shape of the plate holder. I've only had my C63 for about a month. My old E55 had a slimmer holder so I thought maybe a slim holder would be available at MB dealer but this mod looks very clean as is.

Already did the CF side mirrors and LED puddle light. I have the Mode Carbon front lip and rear diffuser arriving Friday.
Beyond that I'm considering a XPEL Stealth (clear film) wrap to get the satin look

What does the LED puddle light look like, don't think i have seen before?
I was looking to do the same regarding the front lip and rear diffuser but didn't want a black series diffuser.
Have you had any problems with your 19inch alloys, I've cracked two rear ones.

You can get the CF mirror housing and puddle light at CKS.
No problems with the 19inch so far, where did yours crack?

Gonna purchase the CF mirrors and puddle light, much better was actually thinking about changing to LED bulb.
The alloys cracked on the inside of the rim, so if you were to remove your wheel and turn it around to look at the back small hairline cracks just on the rim where the tyre meets the rim perhaps your roads are better than ours so you may be o.k. hopefully you will be because Mercedes don't want to know and will not cover the cost.

Just received my spare number plate holder for the front and in the process of getting it carbon wrapped.
On my wife's C Class I am getting the front plate holder painted the same colour as the car. I just hate the faded look of the black plastic after a few years.
