Powder coating forged wheels
Question, I can't remember if I have heard this but is it bad to sandblast/powder coat forged wheels?
I'm sending in one of my ADV's to get rebuilt and when talking about changing up colors etc. ADV charges quite a bit to have the wheels refinished. Much more than what it would cost to have them powder coated. I've been searching around and would just like a definitive answer as to whether or not forged wheels can be powder coated.
Also, when it comes to reassembling, lets just say I have absolutely 0 knowledge about the process. Teach me. I'm assuming any decent wheel shop can do the job once the pieces are painted.
Thoughts?

Shoot me an email. Powder coating or blasting does NOT weaken the wheels. I know who does their refinishing. Email me info@espospowdercoating.com

Espo (I guess I see the connection) you guys did the lips on my ADV's before I bought them. Gloss black lips with matte faces. Had brushed aluminum lips at first...

Not like the crap COR saying that some how the sandblasting which does weaken a wheel and powder won't either. That's just a BS excuse to not honor a claim.
The wheel wil be fine.
Bump for a good guy
