Wavetrac being installed

Wavetrac BEEN installed
As I type this
Looked at having AGC do it but it was just too far
A good deal but when mileage, time , hotel factored in didn't work out
Found a place Sheptrans 3 hours from home
A good deal also but more importantly seems like a quality operation
Specializes in trannys , diffs & xfer cases
A real organized and well equipped operation
Has a rep for gtr and evo work
And the owner is an AMG guy
06 e55 modded I think
12 e63 with ceramics
And a 8.5 sec 175 mph gtr
He was disappointed it didnt do 185
He showed me the diff, a real nice piece of engineering
In fact he bought one for his e55
I have a high degree of confidence that it will done right

You'll love the diff! I noticed a huge improvement when I had my Quaife installed.

Everything i've read leads me to believe a good choice
The car NEEDS one, much torque
Hopefully will help tire wear a bit
Definitely will help in the rain /snow
200 miles today avg 22 mpg OBC
Not bad
Not sure how accurate
Cruise at 70-73 most of the way

Lol thats an awesome pic!
Jason, out of curiosity who did the install for you?
I have also come to the conclusion that MB was crazy in not making a LSD standard equipment on all of the C63's.
I have been looking for a decent shop to in the GTA.

Update
Diff is in housing
Being bolted back into the car
Had to ground a 1/16" to fit
Sounds like he rounded off a non- structural edge
He tried with only 2 bolts installed...no go
Diff would fit without the ring gear but not with it
I trust this guy and do not have the knowledge base to 2nd guess him
Can't wait to try it out

2012 S550, 2012 C63
I'm curious about the options on the C63. I have I 2012 P31 car with factory LSD. It feels good and planted, actually better than my E92 M3 did with the "m-diff", but is there an appreciable difference between factory, Quaife, and wavetrac?

Installed
Haven 't really vetted it but so far so good
Feels like power is more uniformly applied
When first driven heard a clicking sound
Only e brake, needed adjusted
Backed up a few feet and done
I highly recommend sheptrans
Pricing is great, service is even better
In fact I offered him more $ but he declined
Won't discuss cost , that's between you and him
He is entitled to price on a per case basis
He is an expert with gearboxes
No regrets

From all over the world it seemed
His guys are great too, thorough and polite
A really good experience
Agc has such a good rep I was a bit nervous with sheptrans until I met him and saw the operation
Highly recommended

Took a nice drive on one of my favorite backroads
Very twisty
Lots of elevation changes
Off camber corners
Worth every penny and then some
Power is more usable and proportional
If no oem LSD this is a must
