Do you keep your ride outside?
Just wanted to see what the general consensus on this is? I had a c350 and it seemed to weather well in the elements. Better than anything I've ever had.
Now that I look at my c63 sitting outside, I am putting buying a home with a garage on the fast track.
Do the amg's weather the storms in the north east so to speak?

I bought my car with 42k on it 7 or 8 months ago, since then I have put only 2000 miles on it. Those 2000 miles are the only time it has ever been out of the garage.
I try to keep it out of the rain, but I have no idea what the original owner did with it so I'm not **** retentive with it, but I do try.
Over the years I can attest that garaged vehicles def hold up better.

Garage at night, outside during the day (at work).
Bad weather isn't really a problem for the car I guess, it's more the other drivers who can't *******g park and leave scratch marks on my bumpers. I find a new one approximately every 2 months, and it's driving me nuts.

Parked inside whenever possible.
Doing a home remodel/expansion now so all the garage is unfortunately a storage and the C63 is outside for 4-6 months. Not happy about it, definitely getting a good detail done once I can park her inside again.

Nuts! That's what I thought.
I'm the clear minority on this so far. Even my wife said, "why do you suddenly want to move so bad."
I replied "because of my baby" and she rolled her eyes.
Heck, if I could, she'd be sitting in the parking space and my car would keep me warm at night....and it has four tail pipes soooooo.........

That's not true, my family does come first, but my cars are very important to me.
I am in the process if tryin to get my wife to build again. Our current house took us 10 months to build and she doesn't want to go through it all again as with custom home builders the selections become endless. Right now we have a 3 car garage. One for her ML, one for the C63, and the 3rd is for the kids stuff. I am looking for a 5 car because the company car sits out right now and in a few years I plan on picking up a GT3 and will keep the C63. I see her point though, we have only been in our new home for 2 years.

We were toying with the idea of moving prior to my recent purchase. I now have a sense of urgency and am committed to a home with a garage before a snow flake has an opportunity to lay on my sun roof. And hell, why not climate controlled while we're on the topic.
It's a third car. Weekend duty only. But the thought of slush, snow, and salt makes me cringe. Time to dust off the realtor and light a fire under his *** again. Geeze, I hate moving but it's been 8 years so wer're due for change of view. And one more booger eating kid goes foot skidding 5 feet from my bumper on a big wheel he should have shelved 5 years ago and I'm going to rent a storage space and forget about it until a mortgage is signed.
Weather, cars, and dogs I can deal with, but kids....geezus KIDS! Stay away from the AMG!!!

I keep it garaged at home, ac and heated
Outside at work
Doesn't really matter as long as you keep it cleaned/waxed and treat the leather
Sun is rough on the interior but tint helps

outside but on a private driveway behind the house... on a cement slab surrounded by a 8 foot fence(Privacy fence which is essentially my back yard) in the winter she gets her own little tent!

My work lot is a secure (cameras, attended and access) state law enforcement employee lot
I can leave it over night and no one is messing with it
But then again it's only a car
I like my garage because I can detail it in the winter

Garaged at home, try for garage at work if I get there earlier enough. Otherwise, it's in an exposed parking lot. I try and keep it garaged or at least covered as much as possible. I don't want it getting all sunburnt...

My C63 has spent most of its life garaged. However my E55 I had spent about 7 months not garaged(in between house purchase and living with family) I just made sure to wax it more often and it was just fine. I do live in Southern California though, so its not fair to some of you.

Mine stays in the garage at my condo at night. But she gets driven to work every other day and I let her stay outside and work on her tan during those office-drive days. She lives in Florida after-all.
Ps. I live right on the beach and with all the salt air my neighbor who has an SL was instructed by the local dealer to get her car in the garage (she used to park outside) as the salty air was destroying her clear coat finish. I have not experienced any such damage and my paint looks as good as new. I wash my car weekly though, and I know that helps. So just wash and wax your car regularly; you'll be fine.

Mine sits in the driveway, garages are scarce where I live. Which is my one of my top priorities if I buy a house this year is a place with a Lot of garage space So many cars I'd love to buy, but refuse to as I have no place to store them.

Tell me about it! As soon as you get a nice car you will always get people in who bang their car doors into yours out of spite..

Garage mine at night. Its in the work parking lot all day. Its my daily driver, but I am able to park on end spots with a few other "nice" cars whose drivers look out for each other.
