Comand scroll fix
Don't know how many of you guys have done this, but I followed the video below to repair my comand controller yesterday. It is an easy way to save $250 on another controller that will break again in 3-4 years.

Link did not work.
Fortunately I got mine fixed under an extended warranty.
MB should be ashamed of themselves as they kept producing the same defective controller for years and put it in multiple models. They will not own up to there being a basic design issue. Go to the dealer and they will tell you that the fault is most unusual and you will need to buy a new unit as you are out of warranty. My brother in law is currently doing the home repair on one in his E class.

Replacing mine tomorrow because of the random eyebrow blinking in the night that started a few months ago and head lights coming on in the middle of a sunny day (started yesterday)
