Best way to time 0 to 60 runs??
Just wondering if this is even an accurate way to time runs. I have been recording my runs on my iPhone and timing them after by watching and using a stop watch. I'm just wondering if the speedo could be slightly slow or even fast and is screwing my times thoughts?? What do you think of my times my best is 4.3 0 to 60 and 9.5 0 to 100. The 0 to 100 time was not at the same time as my best 0 to 60 so could have been potentially faster. I have v5 tune, row boxes, and 19 inch 265 Pss. What do you think on the times. I feel like it should be faster but not sure if it's decent for the street and non prepped track? Also iv noticed every time my car short shifts first gear at like 6400 I'm guessing due to wheel spin but not sure cause the light is not blinking. All other gears it redlines. I would think that's cutting into my times too. Is that normal?

I've used PocketDyno with some success, but a proper dragstrip is a better place to be doing this. Your speedo at WOT is just about the least accurate thing there is. Second only to your finger on a stopwatch while doing it.
I pity the drivers around you if there are any.

not sure if anyone makes something like this for MB, but i had one in my Audi.
i used it mainly for boost gauge but it does have a 0-60 feature

I know magazines use vbox. Maybe see if someone will let you borrow one. 0-60 times aren't as telling as a 1/4 time and trap speed.

I started using vbox with the E55 - it's awesome and accurate. I haven't had a chance to test the C63 at the air strip yet, but I will sometime this summer when I can get out there(about 3.5 hr drive in the middle of nowhere). I'm also gonna test other sprints while I'm stock like 0-100, 40-100, 60-120 etc.

Vbox sport works great. It ties to your smartphone and you can get, Speed, VMAX
0-60, 0-100, 1/4 mile time, G-force, braking performance, zero to zero times, sector times, lap times, and all kinds of stuff.
Under $450

thats a little hard to believe. For one laying down that traction on the street with those mods and street tires is impressive to say the least. I have the vbox sport now. Great little tool. I just spin and spin didn't mess to much with tire pressure but I could never see that time happening for me.

I tried a few consistently 3.6-3.8
This was on newish tarmac one was the 3.48 and the other in opposite direction at the same place was 3.6x I think with 30 psi in the rears using race start
Weather was decent sunny but not overly hot
I can always send you the file if you want
