I've seen CL600's with the AMG body package from the factory.

Not on a 2007-up. They did not offer from the factory a 600 with an AMG body cladding. Only the 2000-2006. So, I think your eyes were deceiving you or someone spent some money and changed theirs.

I'm sorry I am not sure of what you are trying to show, this email was coming in as I was actually on the phone with MBUSA customer service center technical department and happened to mention this on the forum, about the 07-14 CL 600 coming with an AMG body cladding and they said, "It was not available". A customer might have bought the body cladding after the fact but it was not an option and if the books say differently, there is a disclaimer that states information may not be accurate and contact your local MBZ dealer for correct information. So, I do not know if you were trying to prove me right or wrong. Either way, it is official, as per David at MBUSA technical, it wouldn't have been from the factory. My first Mercedes CL in 2000 600 came as a base so I had it installed. That is more than likely what was seen. Or it could have been a 550 with the 600 badging. Just like the guy on the W220 forum that has the 07-09 and wanted it to look like the newer one and he change the front bumper and tail lamps and mirrors to look like a later style.

I was not trying to prove anything. Just gave you a link to the 2008 CL Class brochure and those brochures show what was available as an option that year.

If you can talk to a dealership or MBUSA that works better. I'm not being contentious, just being helpful, or so I thought. And I know the brochures are not the end all of what you can buy at a dealership. Gone.

Please forgive me if I insulted you, it wasn't meant to come out that way. I was confused by the lack of information regarding whether or not you were saying it was or wasn't an option and showed the PDF to prove It was or wasn't , as stated from another post, that is was. Again, forgive me if I sounded rude in anyway. To my eyes it shows a slash which means the AMG cladding was not an option. I also have the hard bound book from Germany that shows a slash in the option list for AMG sport for the 600 series.

Gentlemen, let's end this discussion,
in US, there was no such an option in 2008 as CL600 AMG Sport Package. Period.
The only option, if I remember correctly, were the different set of wheels.
