The funny thing is the Drag Times calculator comes in with a much lower horsepower number. They are all poor calculators at best. Different cars, different gears, it is far from accurate.
Not being a chronic s***-talker, I'll have to simply say that I don't know the car. As such, I can't speak to why it's doing what it's doing or not doing.
That said, it wouldn't surprise me to learn that there might be more to that run than is immediately obvious, and I know it wouldn't be the first time someone downplayed their car's power before a money race, either. Maybe one of our clients will find some time to line up against him someday? That would be pretty kicka**.

If you are surprised by my car you may also be surprised by Dr. Matt's car. He has a similar setup also with a Eurocharged Tune. With a Killer Chiller and less a trunk tank, I wouldn't be shocked if his car runs faster than mine this up coming weekend.
As for the CL600 in question I am probably one of the few that don't question the dyno numbers posted. The 1/8 mile traps were very high, 106/107 mph if I remember correctly with less than equivalent gain in the back half. I asked the question then and got a stupid answer. Now it seems I was correct in thinking that there were ECU or TCU issues based on the stand alone now being offered. This should be the solution to get the 800+whp times and higher MPH expected.

Another thing to consider, those calculators are typically assuming a N/A car with ideal gearing and traction. That doesn't describe a CL600/65 at all. Our turbo cars make a ridiculous amount of torque and not so much HP as a N/A combination would to run equivalent times.
The calculator I use pegs my car at 701 RWHP based on 4750# (my actual race weight) and my mph, but the best dyno run I've put down was 611 RWHP. The 611 is probably fairly accurate, my car just runs faster than it would if it was a 611 HP N/A motor with 200#ft less torque, BECAUSE IT HAS MORE TORQUE than the calculator assumes.
Anyway, HP numbers from a calculator are as important and truthful as ET numbers calculated during an engine build. The calculators are a tool to see what will you pick up by dropping weight or adding power, but in reality none are accurate for a turbo CL. They can only be trusted a little more than the woman running in the next presidential election. If you want power #'s then dyno the car and live with the results. If you want track numbers run it at the track and let the numbers talk.
Facts:
Speedriven has built some monsters and we've seen what SOME of them run.
Racehorse runs what he claims and isn't hiding any mods.
That's all I have to say about that.
Oh, except this is my favorite power/ET calculator:

It's great how this poster representing Speedriven refers to a person who has most of what Speedriven sells, with the exception of big turbos and tranny, on their car of being a troll. Not to mention, he is accusing a veteran poster that has been on this site for 7 years longer than their account has been active as trolling.
Can this guy be banned from posting? Someone who is close to Marcin needs to diffuse this guy before her permanently ruins the reputation of Speedriven and does any more damange than he has already done.
Lots of us want answers and we are very much interested in what is being done to further the performance on the M275 engine. Acting classless and throwing insults at customers does nothing to promote Speedriven's business and does nothing to get people to buy the upgrades.

This is only my own opinion, but the torque limits could also be responsible for this irritation of MPH.
Who knows when the driver of the car is not analyzing his own runs or gives not much information to the public...
I have seen with my own eyes how my TCU was altered on the shelf, and I have seen that my tuner has insight to get around these torque limits. This seem to be important to free any new found power.
Anyway, a Tuner should withstand a little discussion about MPH in a 1/4 mile. If you run a car in the public, its normal that some people trying to analyze the outcoming.
So good luck for everyone at the track!

Interesting. Well I for one like all the different opinions and sharing of knowledge. I look forward to testing my Speedriven setup that will start in a couple weeks.

Steel Toy Carriers. They had a very nice and rare (1 of 43) Richard Petty 727hp Mustang on there. He just dropped off a TT Lambo too. lol

Well while I was hoping the car was flawless it seems to have an ABC leak and needs new brakes. Yay! More money. On the bright side car so far seems to be a clean example.

No. Not in the least. This is like my build thread and I like to keep track of the changes/repairs made to the car along the way. :p

Beautiful cl and look fwd to tracking the progress on the build.
*is there anyway for you guys not to derail this thread with trying to antagonize speedriven. I had to sift through a ton of bull**** posts about crap not related to this car or owner. Start your own thread or pm speedriven to troll and gtfo

In for progress. I feel good about my stock CL600 times seeing what your car ran in the 1/4. I don't think I have any hope of keeping up once you get the bigger turbos in there though, gonna be a real blast on the highway for sure.

Getting anxious! Jo has been great to work with and we decided to do a couple small touches to make it look even better. I really like him and his crew. That being said I am getting super ancey to get my car back. Taking my first vacation in 6 years in a couple weeks and really wanted to drive her to Vegas. Doubt it will be ready in time though. Almost thinking of buying the SL65 Black replica he has for sale too. lol

Two posts up is my latest update. Couple parts are out for powder coating. That reminds me he was supposed to send me some sample pics. I try not to bother them as its a lot of work but on the other hand I am impatient as hell. lol
