Testing out the new Mishimoto Intake.
Getting the dyno results soon, but word has it that the intake in conjunction with the other mods added another 35-40 hp midrange to the wheels. It's crazy. What I do know driving my car around is that it's a very noticeable difference.
Once I get dyno numbers, I'll show it to the forums. Mind you i now have the Benzworks down pipe, OETuning ECU and the Mishimoto intake. I'll take a picture and put it up here.

Thought this wasn't released yet, only pre-orders taken. Obviously you've got it though. Interested in results. What did you end up doing with the 2 sets of wire harnesses that were on the right side of stock intake box? Just hanging loose now? I know it's not going to hurt them, just would be nice if they had a way to incorporate clipping them on somehow with a bracket or something. I've asked them with no response. TIA

I'll ask Serge and see how it was done. Let you know in a couple days.

So you have the intake, but can't answer a question of looking under the hood? Would you say the power is more "fluid" like the other intake company you were shilling for? Do you even have a 45 or do you just get paid by vendors to try and hype their products??

Very interesting that Koru Kinshi has the intake. I thought I was the only one with it. The lid design with the Mishi logo greyed out was one they were experimenting with. My logo is all white, which I think they decided to do with the full production units.

More info, Mishi made two and OE got the other one to test. They are probably testing on Koru's 45. The greyed out logo is confirmed for full production. Ill be the only one with the white mishi logo unless there is more interest then they may make it in white.

But in response to your questions.
1. I can when I'm not busy. Or you can ask the other owner of the intake and see what he has to say. Perhaps he'll be more responsive to your attitude.
2. I actually would say there is a very noticeable difference throughout the car's power band. I don't have the dyno results in front of me, but once I do, I'll post them here.
3. I do have a CLA 45. Posted photos up here in the forum. You're more than welcome to do a search. And no, I don't get paid by the vendors. They put the parts on my car, I try them out and give my opinion of how they feel.
Now seeing as I'm doing this post at 10:45 at night, I'm not in the particular mood to take more photos of the engine bay, but I tell you what. Once I'm off work tomorrow, I'll get it done.
On another note, the other 'intake' company was BMC, and that was merely a filter, of which I stand by my observations. However, the Mishimoto intake is certainly a considerable improvement over the air filter.

Actually went head to head with an E36 M3 in Mexico, heavily modded and apparently making around 420 at the wheels, and I pulled on him by about 2-3 cars.

Correct. The increase in power is estimated at 35-40 whp throughout the band increase, but I believe that is because it's working in conjunction with the downpipe and ECU tune.

Mishi intake was around 18HP at the very top of the power band.

Your trolling's pretty laughable, but you'll have to do a lot better than that. I don't live on the forum, you know. Besides, I've been entertaining guests the weekend, who are still here mind you.

Sorry about the delay. Busy with work and on my way to Comic Con.
I took those photos. I don't see any zip tieing or any loose wiring, so I'm not exactly sure how it was dealt with. I'll call OE today when I have some free time.
