Rear headrest will not go down
I have a 1999 CLK 320 and the headrest will not go down. I never hand a manual for it as well. I can hear the clicking by the seloniods when I press the buttons. Can anyone help with this please. I am not thinking it could be a fuse issue. Of course, with out them being down I can not even manually put the top down. I have the top down now only because I took out the back seats and removed the headrest deal to pull the top in the back compartment. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.

MBWorld Fanatic!
like what the other saids.. rest it and it will go down.
Its most likely from the sensor. My car does it once every 3 months when i hit a bump or pot hole or something.

Headrest will not reset
Did you ever find a solution to your problem? My top stopped working and the headrest were unresponsive. I tried the reset and my headrest got stuck in the up position. Now when I click the button I hear the clicking noise from the back but nothing happens.
I replaced the relay in the back but still no luck. Also, because the headrests are all of the way up, I cannot manually put my top down
Before I take it to the dealer, can someone please offer any advice that you may have.
Thanks,
Fred

Seems like the switch is blinking slow, windows will roll down, when I unlatch the top, then a slow blink on the switch. I thought I had tried every option available, swapping the fuel relay, have the entire back plate out, as I understand there is not a release on the w208, I hope I dont need a hew Hydro system. I did notice when the issue happened a few months ago, the rollbars went down very slowly, then stopped, smelled something out of the ordinary from the rear, but hydo fluid is intact, is there a motor I can replace to get the rollbars down? I fugured out how to manually operate the top, but the bars are just low enough with enogh nudge I can get the top down and up, pretty hard to see out the the back, I was actually in an accident, for hitting someone in my blind spot, bec the rollbars block the view -1k deductible week before x-mas

The sqitch seems to stay lit up for a moment, then does the slow blink, I am not however getting any red light on the switch that rolls down the roll bar on the dash, just a clicking sound can be heard, even with the swapped fuel relay

Rear Headrests stuck up, top not working A208
This is an old post, so hopefully I can get some help. My 2000 CLK32 a208 rear headrests are stuck in the up position, too. As you know, the headrests are connected together in this car so I cannot use a tool to lower each one. I have the back seat out and can hear the click when I hit the headrest button but nothing happens. I am also having trouble with the fore/aft button for the drivers font seat, the front window switches do not work, and of course the top and rear headrests. Are these connected together in a circuit? I'm getting ready to take it to a shop. It runs great, but has these issues.
