Stainless rear bumper plate
Anybody found out anything (you, Jack?) further about the stainless bumper plate? As shown on the attached auto show model-
My GL is being built this week, and i want that put on it ASAP-my dog will be scratching the heck out of that bumper without it.

I'm very pleased so far. The weather, of course, is not great here this week. I'll try to get some photos within a day or two if the sun ever comes out.

I picked up the bumper plate today and was surprised to find that it will only fit the euro bumper because of the clips (seen in the pictures below). No big deal I just removed them (clips) and scrubbed down the bottom with alcohol. I will put it on tomorrow with 3M double sided tape. Did a test fit and it is perfect. It is a really nice piece. Highly recommend.

Done! I finished the installation this morning! Piece o cake!
The hardest part of the whole thing was removing the red strip from the 3M double-sided tape.
In the pictures below you can see the steps I took. If you have any questions let me know.
For you guys that want this piece but afraid to mess it up, it is beyond easy. If you want, I can pick up a few of these and have them ready to install 3M tape and all. Figure $15 for the tape $202 for the part (CA tax included) + shipping and a few bucks for my time should be no more than $260.

The bumper guard took about an hour.
Here are a few other things I did this morning:
ML63 pedals and hardwired the V1:
I will try to find the part number for the pedals. My wife thru out my receipt. You can always call the MB parts department for them too.
