brake squeaking
#3
Sorry for the old bump but do you mind me asking how much was parts and labor to get all brake pads and rotors changed out? I'm in the boat to buy new brakes front and rear right now and wanted to know how much it will be... Thanks

Got the front pads and rotors done and rear pad also.. dealer told me that my rear rotors were still good.. paid 1300 with labor and parts.
I thought that all rotors and pads needs replacing??

Rotors need replacing if they are damaged because the pads were complete worn and you had metal to metal contact or because of use wear. Usually the car will tell you if rotors are worn enough that need replacing via a brake service needed message.

I had really bad squealing (GLS63) and did the front pads (rotors were fine) and no more noise. So maybe its low front pads? Maybe it will come back in time as the pads wear. Not sure. My S65 will start squeal occasionally and if I clean out the brake dust it goes away. Didn't seem to help on the GLS though.
