Spare Tire
#3
Right no spare and I haven't quite decoded how dealers get GLAs and runflats and some with the tire repair kit. Mine came with Bridgestone runflats but it could have just as easily come with Continental tires and the repair kit which were on some of the other cars at my dealer. They didn't have an explanation.

Maybe that was the intent but my dealer in CT had about a 50/50 mix and I happened to be at a dealer in PA with my father and they were all Conti's with the repair kit. Who knows what's going on but if somebody's buying one they may have the opportunity to pick the type they prefer.

After repeatedly getting nails in my 335i runflats, I despise them. No one can repair them and they are expensive to replace. I would rather be on the side of the road and be able to plug a traditional tire.

After a bit of a ***** up regarding my space saver from Mercedes I went down a different path
After being quoted over $2000 for a space saver to suit my 45 I thought there had to be a cheaper way
I have 20" on the 45 but i went for a 19" spare wheel with a 235/45R19 tyre
The cost all up was @ $600 and less boot space
I got the wheel & nuts
Tyre
Jack
extendable wheel brace
wheel cover
tarp (so the wife doesn't get dirty....haha)
tie down straps
I can now go away knowing at least if I blow a tyre I can fix it
Im happy
