New GLA45 squealing
Have new 2015 GLA45 AMG , just turned 1100 miles and notice a squealing sound frequent, no constant when driving at various speeds. Almost sounds like cars that have power steering squeals. Possibly a belt? I don't think it's anything with the turbo and performance does not seem to be impacted. Curious if anyone experienced or heard of this. I followed the break in period..going to take to dealer.
Thanks everyone.

Update
Took car to dealer, took tech for ride for him to hear noise. He heard and said he thinks it's the belt. Pulled back into dealer, left car running, he hit belt with stay of lube and heard a ping. Shut off engine, looked closer and belt popped off!

Update 2
So dealer called and they fixed the belt issue,no problems or damage. But after tech took for test drive, they still heard the noise. Determined it was the turbo, so now they are replacing turbo. Said there have been instances where there is shaft play. Wo knows... hopefully good as new next week.

I do not think it was the turbo. Picked the car up to bring home after turbo install, not soon after I got on road I heard the noise!!!! Took it home popped the hood, looked around and noticed a collection of dried leaves up towards the firewall, drivers side by the hood hinges. Removed them all and haven't heard the noise since!!!!!!! I am thinking air was blowing the right way at times and the leaves were causing the whistling noise. But found 2 nicks in my hood area conviently right in front of the turbo. Losing faith, especially with his local dealer.

TURBO noise again!
So dealer installed new turbo and i "thought" the noise was gone, but only under acceleration or downshifting is when i hear a whistle/light squealing sound. not sure if its bearings or shaft play or what...but i cant imagine it should be deemed a normal noise. i wont be able to get to dealer for a couple months, so reposting to see if anyone else experienced similar.
