2013 GLK350
We went to the dealer today to buy a 2013 CPO and found out that it was sold last night (could be a scam, but I doubt it).
Anyway to make up for it (so he said), he found another CPO 2013 GLK350 4matic with P01 (the other one only had Q01) and he's going to install the Becker Map Pilot.
For our troubles (we drove 2 hours to the dealership). He would match the price on the first 2013 that we were going to buy for $36,000. The mileage on the first one that was sold was 8096 and the one down in Atlanta has 7800 miles on her and is being shipped on monday. So we're have her by next weekend.
All in all we're now gettng a 2013 with the P01, instead of Q01 for $36,000
We also traded in our 2010 Acura RDX and have a 2014 C300 as a loaner for the week. (The price of $36,000 doesn't reflect the trade in value).
Good deal???

Have you checked Edmunds, etc. for quotes on new '14 GLKs?
There's $1,750 cash back on '14 GLKs right now, and many localities are able to double that to $3,500. Depending on where you live and availability, you could get new vehicle with P01 for as low as $38,000. If you assume MBFS's standard of $0.25 per mile, it seems you're only getting a discount for the accumulated miles and nothing at all for the fact that it's a used car.

Carsdirect has it for $39,000 with no P01, but the Becker system installed.
We did look online at other 2013 with the P01, Becker installed and heated seats and it looks like $36,000 with 7800 miles is a good price.

It's not a widely advertised incentive, you can see it here: http://autos.aol.com/cars-Mercedes_B...14/incentives/
Edmunds (and most other sites actually) doesn't show it on their incentives page, but many of their price promise dealers give quotes taking it into account. Two weeks ago when it was $2,000 I was able to get my '14 GLK250 for $4,000 below invoice. The explanation I got from my dealer (so take it for what it's worth) was that it really is like a certificate or voucher MBUSA gives to dealers to help push out old '14 models, and it's up to each dealer's discretion on how they want to apply it.
You can also find it on MBUSA's main website hidden in the fine print for their specials for the '14 GLK, where it says "based on MSRP of $44,605 less the suggested dealer contribution resulting in a total gross capitalized cost of $42,858." - which is $1,747 of dealer contribution, or one 'certificate.'
That being said, it's certainly cheaper from an absolute dollar comparison to buy CPO (unless leasing is something you'd consider) and if you're set on that, even though you've already given them your trade-in so so your position is weaker, hopefully you might be able to leverage the deep discounts on '14 GLKs to further negotiate down the price.

At frist we we're looking at a 2012 for $33,500 and now we're already at $36,000 for the 2013 and could be around $38,000 for a 2014. While the Mrs. would love to have a 2014, we're really getting out of our budget range.
Don't think that there's a double $1750, as one shows cash/independent financing or $1750 for manufacturers financing.

Only two dealers gave me a double discount quote off the bat, but when I shopped around, every other dealer was able to match it.
You mentioned Atlanta, so I did a very rough search on Edmunds and RMB of Alpharetta is quoting $37.5k for a P01/Keyless/Heated, which is $3k below invoice. Still over $36k, but if you guys are flexible on not having premium package, the deals are out there to bring a new '14 GLK 4matic down to $36k - the biggest hurdle is finding a dealer with a vehicle in their inventory that's not loaded down with options.
At the very least, like I said before, if you have some aggressive quotes in hand (even if it's from a dealer too far out for you to drive to) you can hopefully try to get your current dealer to budge on price.

The car he found me was in Atlants but I'm in NJ.
What two dealers gave you the double rebate?
So I'm going to email him to see what he can do on a 14.
Thanks for the tips.

Good luck to you!
Also, the Becker Map Pilot can be found on ebay for $300 instead of the $600 MB charges, and it's a plug-and-play install. You'll save a few hundred if you can find a vehicle with all the options you like except for the Becker.

It appears my dealer doesn't have any 2014's left over and since I already signed to buy the 2013 CPO, it is what it is.
Really can't complain as I still feel we're getting a great car, good price and very low miles.
Thanks for the responses.
