Hello MB Fans,
this is my first post here :-)
I hope it is fine and that i dont violate against any rules.
I would like to share with all of you here at MBWorld our latest projects and answer your questions regarding our products.
We finished yesterday our ML63 AMG V8 5.5l TT. The outcome numbers are incredible! 730hp and 1280Nm torque.
We already tested the ML63 vs X6M (Stage 2) here is the video:

Hello ML63 AMG,
thanks for you reply!! Ofc we know that it dosnt cross, the reason why is because the air intake went over 80* so the power went down.
On our Dyno in Germany it wouldnt be a problem at all, here in Abu Dhabi the Dyno room temperature is 26-30* depending on the weather outside and the fan is realy small! We cant install a fan to get air from outside due to the dust in the air.
If you have more questions, ask ask ask :-)
Cheers
Thomas

That has absolutely nothing to do with air temps, the gearing on the dyno was not calculated properly which means the numbers are overstated. ALL dynos must cross at 5250rpm because that us the formula to convert torque to horsepower. Redyno with the correct gearing so that the redline rpms match up then report the results, until then these numbers are not accurate.

Hello ML63 AMG,
the rpm was set correctly on the dyno. When we dyno the car we see in the diagnostic that the air intake was over 80 degrees at 4900rpm and as you can see on the dynosheet the power drops down when the air intake goes high.
for the 5250rpm as you say, i dont know who told you that! we dyno now cars since 12 years on a MAHA dyno and if you say every dyno must be over 5250rpm to show the correctly power, THEN tell me please, how we will make a dyno on a diesel car with a maximum rpm of 4800rpm?
Cheers
Thomas

I'm not well versed in dyno power calculation, but I can say that during a chat with a couple AMG engineers, they clearly said that the torque output was limited do to the AWD transmission. So have fun with that.

Hey thanks for the reply!
Ofc we know that the transmission is limited! But it is the customers wish! He knows what can happen and its fine with him. He is just happy so we are happy :-)
I saw a post here of a guy with upgraded turbos from Digi Tec and 800hp Ask him what our CLS63 with 700hp did to him.
Cheers

Hello Thomas,
How're you doin man ?
I didn't know you are in the forums. Welcome to MBWorld.
Don't worry about anybody arguing about your numbers. We know for a fact how powerful the cars that come out from PP-Performance

That's impressive WOW I like
How did you managed to gain so much power?
I will do a lot of tuning on my future W166 ML63 @ Vath but expecting 680hp! (special valve Exhaust, headers, intercooler, chip, etc)

Hello MAQ-DT,
yes the car has upgraded GAD-Motors. The customer went to Digi-Tec in Dubai for the tune, the turbos are fine, not saying they are not doing their job. But the software is not realy good. (harmless expressed)
This dyno is with our software, I can have a look for the dyno with GAD-Motors Software.
Yeah he said that he wants to install some more parts in his car, will see what will happen...
Cheers
Thomas
