New Owner! iphone 6 not compatable?
Hello All! I'm excited to report we just added this beauty(beast) to the stable.
Pearl White with AMG factory seats. 47k miles.
When we bought her we thought the iPhone 6 would work with the car and now the dealer says "Sorry charlie". The car was built before the iPhone 6, therefore it isn't compatable. Presently the Bluetooth works for music, just can't get the phonebook to load into the car, therefor no ability to dial using the steering wheel buttones/handsfree. Any help would be appreciated!
My wife is too damn impressed by this car to return it. HELP!

Everything works fine for me. iPhone 6+. I use the cord in the center console with a lightning adapter.

Dealer updated the electronics and it is still not working correctly. I've tried multiple different phones, too. Did you do anything special or in particular to get it to work?
I assume you have Navi?

My iPhone 6+ works great on my 2011 C63. I just paired it and it worked right away, no problems what so ever. Same thing on my wife's 2010 C300 but the dealer had no clue how to make it work.

I know on my 08, the only way to transfer is either manually load or through the memory card slot. I just loaded my frequent contacts and use the comand knob to place calls. I have never used my steering wheel controls other than to hang up a call or answer incoming.

Do the newer w204's allow Bluetooth address book transfer from any phone?

Yes. The ones I have loaded in the system display on the nav screen. Never have the speedo screen on anything other than the AMG display but I am sure it displays there as well

Give it a try and there's your answer. The earlier models didn't auto import phone contacts.

So jealous that the FL C63s can play music over BlueTooth. I have to use a stupid Tune2Air Adapter, and I can't even change the songs from my steering wheel or the COMAND system.
