In another thread OP followed up that he was told it was ALL C43s. I will be following up with my SA on this as well, but I'm letting others do so first so that I can give my SA a break for once
Please let us know what you hear back. Cheers.

I'm in the same boat inhartwetrust, pretty sure if I email my SA one more time he's going to just setup a filter to automatically delete my emails lol, but very curious what people hear about this. Hopefully a few from Canada ask the question as well to see if it's a North American thing or just USA.

What worries me is that up north we tend to piggy back on a lot of your environmental testing. So little worried it will carry across. But still have my fingers crossed it's all just speculation and it turns out to not be delayed that long for anyone!

I contacted my dealer about this, and I was told that the SUV's with the 43 nomenclature are experiencing a one month delay. My 43 coupe is still on schedule to be delivered on Nov. 4th. None of the 43 coupes have met with any delays yet. I will keep you guys updated if anything changes. Also, keep in mind, this is for Canada.

With this new development, it certainly throws the Infiniti red sport 400, BMW 440xi, and Cadillac ATS-V back into play, leaving open the possibility to trade in for a merc 4-5 months from now.

I placed my order about a month ago. Production is set to begin on Sept. 20th, with an ETA of Nov. 4th. Also, I would have received my 43 sooner, but there was a delay on the ash wood pore trim, which I refused to change. Things look hopeful so far!

Believe me it worth the wait time , especially if you are looking for a sport luxury AWD coupe like in my case . I ordered mine like 10 days ago SA promised delivery Mid December , I would've received it earlier too but I wanted the diamond white.

Knew I saw a video on youtube talking about EPA delays. At around 7:30 in the video they talk a little about what's going on. Although it is more about diesel they do mention that it is effecting any new cars.

It's because dealers are still sitting on a ton of 2016 C450 AMG Sports. They pulled the same crap last year with 2016 GLA45 and CLA45's, my GLA45 was delayed 3 months. There are still dealers sitting with 2015(yes 2015) GLA45's on their lots. There are 5 2016 C450's at 3 dealers all within 25 miles of my home.

I believe I read somewhere on these forums there are ~200 C450s currently on lots, hopefully they can move these quickly. I don't plan on my C43 Coupe being here until end of Oct/beginning of Nov, so I've got some time.

Spent a good amount of time at Dealer this weekend. Here is what I was told, not by sales, but by the head of ordering for the largest dealer in USA. I had the dealership get him on the phone as he does not work at the dealership, but offsite. He indicated that my car was built on August 18, shipped to the local VPC in Los Angeles, the huge old DC 10 building that MBZ bought, where it has sat for a few weeks pending Federal Certification. He indicated that the VW debacle from last year has changed the way that the Fed's look at cars for certification now. ANY changes to drivetrain (9 speed) require a new certification. In order to do this, a certain number of cars must be built and ready for them to pull a few from stock to check. They want hundreds, if not more, to be in stock before they choose a few to prevent cheating. This may be done in a week, a month, perhaps longer. No one knows. My wife's car is 30 miles away, and may as well be thousands. At least I am told that I can have the car a few days after the certification is complete. Anyways, that's what I was told. Who knows for sure...Hope this helps.

Yep, EPA, as we suspected, so the factory rep told my dealer maybe mid to late October but no way of knowing. Not likely to be much sooner, could be a good bit later. My wife said "to hell with this" and told our dealer to just get her a new SL. THIS IS GONNA COST ME.....

Because greed... Inflated stock price and millions in revenue for stockholders that fines will never reach.... So the people that made millions are probably untouchable.... And the people taking the fall probably had little knowledge of it....
